As a child William learned many skills both in armouring and fighting from his father, a skilled engineer for the King. He grew up honing his skills with his friends, Tarquin and Tiger. Many years passed and the friends moved apart following their own interests until one day when they returned. Tarquin told stories of a band of mercenaries that he met up with on his travels and became a brother of the group, known as the Wolfpack. Both William and Tiger were so awed by his stories that they both joined the fighting group and roamed the countryside looking for battles.
