During the summer of 955 BC a young boy was chosen to join the service of the Greek military. He quickly became known amongst the troops as “Heirax fang”. A “Heirax” was a small desert animal that used quick thinking to accomplish its tasks, and executed its kills using its massive fangs always killing its prey instantly. Many years of service got him experienced in the art of killing his fellow man and soon he decided to leave the Greek army and create a legion known as XIII. He chose only the most skilled warriors and emotionless soldiers to create an immortal army that could dispatch any who opposed it. XIII traveled the world for many years recruiting the best of the best. They were called to fight in many great battles and fought for many high paying countries. Their skills were unmatched on the battlefield and were respected by many great generals of that era. The appearance of XIII was very intimidating to many. They adorned black dome shaped shields with red glaring letters of XIII, they were also fitted with long blood red capes. The XIII trained day and night and were taught to fear nothing, they were more interested on the location of the enemy as opposed to the amount them.
