Godric was born in a shire of Northumbria in 1050,to a Saxon father (Ælfgar) and a welsh mother (Gynth). Learning to use sword axe shield and at his mothers biding the bow, Young Godrics days were filled with study and chores. At 15 Godrics father could no longer ignore his following of pagan beliefs, so he was exiled to the holy land as an attempt to change his path. Upon returning home in 1070 after 5 years in exile Godric discovered that his Father and Brother(Cedric) had been killed at Hastings 4 years earlier and that his sister(Ælfwin) had married a Norman lord and used his birth right as her dowry. After searching northern Wales for his mother and being unable to find her, Godric became a wonderer making whatever living he could with the sword and hunting for food. After a few years of traveling he found himself in the cold bleak north. It was in this cold bleak place that he met Faelin and was introduced to the pack. After some time as Faelins companion he was ransomed to Argyle McMillian . And its here in the service of my Deor, Argyle, where I will remain until my soul departs this mortal world.
